From September 15th to 18th 2024, Berlin will become one of the most important locations for global trade. The members of the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) will meet in the German capital for their annual conference - 150 years after the founding of IUMI, which in 1874 also took place in Berlin. The anniversary conference is hosted by the German Insurance Association (GDV) and the Association of Hanseatic Marine Underwriters (VHT).
Under the common theme "Building on 150 years of enabling global commerce", the more than 600 expected participants from all over the world will discuss the geopolitical and technical risks facing marine insurers worldwide. IUMI will also provide information on business developments in the global marine insurance market.
